RDECOM’s Katryna A. Segovia was named “Most Promising Engineer - Advanced Degree” during the HENAAC Annual Awards Competition in San Diego, CA on October 12, 2007. Segovia competed against applicants from all over the country.
As a general engineer with RDECOM’s Materiel Systems Analysis Activity since 2003, Segovia works on the Intelligence and Chemical Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Team. She has been in charge of generating data through computer modeling and simulation of the effects of chemical and biological weapons by threat forces.
Segovia has a B.S. in biological resources from the University of Maryland and a Master’s in applied biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University. She was also honored by the Society for Engineering in Agricultural, Food and Biological Systems in 2003. |
